A Little Glimpse Into My India Project

As many of you know, I'm currently in India as a volunteer English teacher. I work in the LV Prasad Eye Institute, teaching English to ONAs, Vision Technicians, HR department, Patient Care counsellors and other members of staff.

I honestly love it here, and so I'm so glad I'm able to share this video with you. We were asked to teach a mini-fake lesson for this video, as Phoolmani is actually a senior ONA now, but I wanted to share it with you as it offers a little glimpse into our ONA classroom and some of the reasons why we're volunteering in LVPEI. I hope it will also give you a hint as to why we love teaching these girls so much.
Hope you enjoy!

  1. Oh that video is amazing! You are doing such a fab work! What made you go to India and start teaching English? Do you like India? I always wanted to go there, and hopefully it will happen in the future! :)
